CLA announce three sponsored bursary places at CILIP Conference

The Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) have just been announced as an official Bursary Sponsor of CILIP Conference 2023, providing three fully-funded residential bursary places at this year’s event.

The sponsored places seek to offer funded assistance to students; those new to the profession; or those without the financial means to cover the ticket. Both CILIP members and non-members are welcome to apply.

Bursary places unlock access to vital professional development and it is CLA’s hope that these funded residential places support equity of access.

To fit with Conference’s leadership focus, CLA is interested in hearing from those who are just embarking on their leader journey, or who are considering leadership as their next career step.  They are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have never been to CILIP conference before, and who have a view on the role of copyright and IP in the profession.  Successful bursary applications will be expected to document their time at CILIP Conference, distilling for the wider sector the invaluable insights conference offers.

We’re delighted to offer three bursary places for CILIP Conference 2023. With its focus on emerging and aspiring leaders, the conference will help to support and cultivate a new cohort of professionals who want to help people access content and want to see creators of content fairly paid, and who want to Copy, Right.
