Terry originally trained as a librarian in the late 1970s. After qualifying he worked as a professional libraries for 9 years.. Since the mid 1980s he has been a marketing planning consultant having worked in over 20 countries on projects for over 50 organisations. For over 20 years he has been, and still is, a trainer for CILIP. Terry is the author of “Strategic marketing plans that really work – a toolkit for public libraries” (Facet).
