AI and Copyright Regulatory Update

11:15 - 12:00

Earlier this year, CILIP joined fellow members of the Creative Rights in AI Coalition, calling on the government to protect copyright and build a dynamic licensing market for the use of creative content in building generative AI.

In this session we will be joined by Naomi Korn, CEO of Naomi Korn Associates, to explore an update on the latest regulatory issues around copyright and AI, while our panel, representing the creative and academic sectors, will discuss the ethical implications of copyright and AI in the context of rights erosion and broader information literacy.

Chaired by Louis Coiffait-Gunn, CEO of CILIP and featuring Naomi Korn, Naomi Korn Associates and Jane Secker, Senior Lecturer in Educational Development at City, University of London.
