Better World Books is a for-profit socially minded business offering an ethical solution to libraries for their unwanted books and donations. Proud of our environmental action of saving books from landfill we are delighted to be a signatory of CILIP’s Green Manifesto. We collect and sell books online with each sale generating funds that support the development of literacy in the UK and around the world. We are owned by Better World Libraries, a mission-aligned, not-for-profit organisation affiliated with the Internet Archive. Together we pursue our collective mission of making knowledge universally accessible to readers everywhere to advance global literacy.
