|The presentation will outline key marketing concepts relevant to all sectors and through short practical exercises show how these matter in library development. This session will be very interactive and attendees will leave with some marketing ideas they can use straightaway as part of an integrated strategic marketing plan.
Terry Kendrick, Information and marketing trainer and consultant
Terry has over 30 years’ experience of delivering information and marketing training courses. Originally qualified as a librarian, Terry runs his own information and marketing training and consultancy company – Information Now Ltd. Terry is a CILIP trainer, presenting marketing courses for CILIP members and tailored programmes for organisations. He has also written articles on marketing planning and is the author of ‘Developing strategic marketing plans that really work: a toolkit for public libraries’ (Facet).
