Questioning diversity

There is a growing conversation around the need for greater diversity, representation and inclusivity in the library and information sector. This session draws on lived personal and professional experience to explore what we need to understand in order to move beyond good intentions towards individual and collectiive action to enable change.


Hong-Anh Nguyen, Information Services Manager, The King’s Fund

Hong-Anh is the Information Service Manager at The King’s Fund, a health care policy think-tank. Her role involves managing the library and enquiry service and providing research support and public engagement activities. She recently co-created “The NHS Explained”, a free online course explaining the inner workings of the NHS. As well as this, she is involved in equality and diversity work in both the profession and in her own organisation.
